The Global eCollaboration Competition (GeCCo) is an international virtual 24-hour case study competition that has been running for several years.
Young project managers from all over the world compete in distributed multinational teams in a virtual environment for 24 hours. Keynote Speakers deliver new insights on collaboration in decentralized teams and might help to solve the challenge set up for the participants. The teams’ work is assessed by a Jury Committee that consists of prominent members of the Project Management society.
The project is addressed to all young project management professionals from officially recognized Young Crew countries disregarding their experience or area of expertise, but with a sufficient level of knowledge in the project management. Participants are chosen among the national YCs that have registered to GeCCo.
GeCCo enables young project management professionals to get competences and skills that will help them in their future career to work in virtual international teams.
The Project Management Championship is a 3 stage competition consisting of a qualification round, the national finals and the international final. The international final will be hosted each year by a different country.
PM Championships is targeted at full-time students at higher education studying project-related courses. Its core objectives are to enhance student involvement in the field of project management, to raise the interest in professional project management at a national and international level, as well as to advance the dialogue, the knowledge sharing and know-how between research and the business world.
Global PM Days is a 2-day online conference on project management bringing together the world’s top keynote speakers from the project profession.
The focus of the conference is on the people competences (personal and interpersonal competences required to successfully participate in or lead projects) of IPMA ICB®, the IPMA Competence Baseline, and topics related to them.
Aiming at developing personal and interpersonal competences required for individuals working in the field of project management, keynote speakers share their knowledge and experience in different aspects of the competence chosen as a conference umbrella topic.
